Embark on a behind-the-scenes journey to two important moments in maritime history! In a small group setting led by an expert guide, gain exclusive access to the Sherburne House (c. 1695) and the Chase House (c. 1762).

During the tour, immerse yourself in the bustling maritime trade hub of the Puddle Dock neighborhood, uncovering its pivotal role in the region's early history. Hear the story of the Sherburne House, one of the few surviving wood-framed houses from the 1600s in New Hampshire, through its distinctive architecture, interior design, and archaeology.

Later, venture around the block to 1818 in the Chase House, one of the grandest Georgian structures at Strawbery Banke. Discover the story of Mary Chase, widow of a prosperous merchant, and her family who resided in the house when commerce was moving inland and away from its dependence on the sea.

Additionally, experience hands-on elements and ample time for questions. This exclusive tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.
