Get a behind-the-scenes look at Strawbery Banke’s restoration of the Sherburne House (1695). In a small group setting led by an expert guide, gain access to the Museum’s only surviving First Period home. Learn about the impact of sea-level rise on the structure, discover what Archaeology tells us about the Sherburne family’s home and garden, and  uncover the architecture and hidden decorative features.  You'll discover how all of these elements—environmental changes, archaeological research, and architectural history—are shaping the Museum’s future plans for preservation and interpretation.Additionally, experience hands-on elements and ample time for questions. This exclusive tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.
